Funfetti White Chocolate Brownies

It's no secret Funfetti deserts are all the rage. And why shouldn't they be? Any desert that tastes amazing and can be made from a box cake mix should receive an award. So when Whitney posted a recipe for Funfetti brownies I knew I needed to recreate that asap.

Unfortunately mine didn't turn out as I had expected. Now, these still tasted pretty darn good, but my brownies turned out to be more cake-like than dense like brownies. Maybe it was the pan I cooked them in? cook time? I'm not quite sure.

Anywho, maybe you'll have better luck or maybe you prefer your brownies more light and fluffy. If so, this recipe is for you!

What you'll need:
-1 box Funfetti cake mix
-1/4 c vegetable oil
-1 egg
-1/2 cup milk
-1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Place cake mix in large mixing bowl. Break up any large lumps with a fork.

Add egg, oil, and milk. Mix well.
Add in white chocolate chips and use those arm muscles mixing.
Pour batter into a greased 8 X 8 pan. I doubled the recipe so I used two pans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until it is a golden brown.
Wait at least 20 minutes (more like 30) for it to cool down before removing the brownies from the pan.

As a note...this is what happens if you don't wait until it is completely cooled to remove from the pan.
My bad.

  1. I have said many a times that my wedding cake will be funfetti. Love!

  2. At the rate I'm going with all baking all things Funfetti, I just might be able to make that cake for you.
