Weekend Recap

I was determined to make our 3 day weekend not only great, but productive as well and I'm proud to say I did just that.

This weekend we had crazy weather with both sleet, snow, and temps in the 50's. If you would have told me Friday we would play outside all 3 days this weekend I wouldn't have believed you considering this was my view on the way to a client's house Friday morning.

Saturday was spent completing our usual weekly grocery shopping trip. This is just one of the many reasons why I love our grocery store. How old does Jack have to be before he disqualifies me from the "new mothers" category?

Later that afternoon, J and Jack had some quality time together while I took Ben to see The Nut Job with my family. Cute movie and I love that Ben is finally at the age where he can sit through an entire movie and not want to get up or leave...or have to use the bathroom a thousand times.

This gaggle stopped traffic on the way to the theater and almost made us late.

I also spent a better part of Saturday organizing the house including Ben's room, cleaning up the laundry room, and organizing one of our smaller cupboards. Do people still call them that?

Sunday was church, lunch, and just hanging around the house followed by a trip on Monday dropping of some donations at Goodwill, picking up a few outfits for the boys from the mall, playing with new toys that were still un-opened from Christmas, and more time outside.

Doesn't it feel good to get stuff done?!
