5 on Friday

Tomorrow I'm participating in a fundraiser called the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics. If you couldn't guess from the name what it is, I'll be jumping in a frozen lake (and going all the way under) with several of my co-workers and hundreds of other people who are dying to get frostbite in order to raise money for Special Olympic Athletes. Proceeds from The Plunge benefit Special Olympics Missouri’s year-round program of sports training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. I can only hope to be this happy in the frigid lake.

I got this adorable sweater from my sister for Christmas after she read about how much I wanted one on a previous 5 on Friday post. J on the other hand hates it. And not just this one. I swear he hates any outfit that has  any kind of print on it what so ever. Me + solids = the only thing he thinks I should EVER wear. Good thing I wear what I want:) Anyone else's partner like this?

I finally got around to making some clothes dividers for Jack's closet. J cut the rings out using his 3D Printer and I traced the circles on scrapbook paper, glued the paper on the rings, and then used stickers to mark the sizes. Stickers are a nice alternative to a marker that way when he grows out of a size I can just peel the stickers off instead of re-doing the whole thing. (You can click the link above if you have no idea what a 3D printer is. I know I had no clue until he got it)

The dividers are definitely coming in handy for all the new clothes I ordered for the boys from GAP. Last week they had a HUGE sale online and I got them the cutest things for super cheap. I got Jack 3 onesies and a pair of jeans and Ben 4 shirts and a pair of jeans all for under $60.00. I know.

And now that they boys are set outfit wise, this momma needs to do some shopping for herself. Nothing extravagant, just some new basics and maybe a few other pieces I can wear casually on the weekends. I am loving this outfit and need to re-create it asap.

Happy Weekend! Stay safe and warm!
