5 on Friday

Happy Friday Friends!

This week's 5 is going to be a little different. Last night our first baby graduation for pre-k. I may have cried. Several times. A few times. So.... for today's 5 on Friday I'm going to list my top 5 moments from the last 5 years with our little guy who is not so little anymore (in no particular order).

Graduation
Ben did AMAZING! He was the perfect child during the entire time-and I don't say often. Hardly ever if we're being honest; he's a boy. He smiled, sang, and received his diploma like a champ. He even let me a take million photos afterwards without whining. I am SO proud of him. And in case you need a cry, listen to Bruno Mars' song, 123, then imagine a bunch of 5 year olds singing it. Especially if you're reading this at work. It's the fastest way to get you labeled as the crazy person in the office.

BIRTH
I remember you being this small, but yet I can't imagine it looking at you now.

First Christmas
You were so excited even though you had no idea what it was all about.

SPORTS
I love watching you become involved with sports and the growth you make with each and every practice and game.

Becoming a brother
There are no words to describe how I felt at this moment except complete and total love.

Congrats on your graduation! Love you big man!

  1. How sweet! I teach preschool, and somehow I ended up crying with most of the parents at graduation. Our little is already 14 months… and I can't even fathom her going to peek one day… but I know it will happen! :)
