Labor Day Weekend Recap

We had the best 3 day weekend filled with lots of friends, pool time, and very little laundry. I don't think I put on makeup once the entire weekend and basically rotated between swimsuits and pajamas.

A new Asian restaurant opened this week and a few of us tried out their steamed buns before book club on Thursday. They were so good I made J eat them with me on Friday night and we both agreed it may be one of the top 5 foods we've ever eaten.

The boys talked me into a quick trip to the pool on Friday night. It was only 70 degrees out and I was freezing so needless to say we didn't last very long.

Temperatures were back into the upper 90's for the rest of the weekend which meant we headed back to the pool. Sometimes I think Jack just comes along for the snacks.

We started watching season 2 of Ozark on Friday night and stayed up late Saturday night to finish it. It was just as good if not better than the first season and as usual, the anxiety just about killed me. Now to wait another year for season 3. Ugh.

We had the best intentions to go to church on Sunday morning but instead we all slept in and then my friends and their kids joined us at the pool.

Any Monday that you don't have to go to work is a great Monday. I fixed a big breakfast and we all just hung around the house before going to my sister's for a bbq and one final swim. I ended the weekend watching RBG and I totally want to be her when I grow up.

I hope you all had a wonderful Labor Day Weekend!

Linking up with Biana for Weekending.
